It was short but worth it. Stunning views and a lot of areas for photos. Good for families, dates, and a great spot to read or get some work done. Benches are along side the water with plenty of space to social distance work :)

This was a great walk. So much to see. I will definitely come back later to see the fall foliage.

its short nice trail awesome views but the trail needs some clean up trees have fallen different parts of the trail some of the wooden bridges are falling apart and some of the trail is washed out but the scene is worth it also if you are scared of spiders not for you your face will hit a spider web every 10 to 20 feet had webs all over lol but worth it

The main fort is closed but there’s so much to explore here. It’s a good marriage of history and hiking. And for more hiking you can add on the River Trail that starts on the first out and back.

The park is nice with a beautiful fort and some cool ruins of old fortifications. However the trails themselves could use some help. There are a lot of sections that have trees down across them, and other areas with the wood forming bridges or steps, that have eroded or washed out. There are also areas were the trail itself is completely washed out. It is a nice easy trail with some nice views of the river.

It is a pretty good park I live in walking distance. Has good historical sights and peaceful views. It is literally my childhood and I grew up there, as me and my cousins and friends have grown quality has definitely decreased. It is sad that we can’t fish anymore because the fish all died and there is trash. I hate to see all the trashy ness. But it still holds a place in my heart.

Nice Historical area to walk. Historic farms and even access to the water. There are some fisherman here but its a nice park to walk and take in nature.

This is a great trail, with history to boot. Walk throughout the Fort, down to the lighthouse and around the wood line the in compass the waterline around the park up to some other hidden bunkers.

Nice walk around the old fort and river. River trail nearby needs some TLC. The batteries and fort are all worth checking out.

The Park is free in the winter months (we went in October). The Fort was interesting but watching to bald eagles soaring over the Fort was even better. We hike along the river trail (wasn't well maintained) and then looped back to the Fort along the park rode. Around 3 miles in total. Nice place to get some American history and a good walk.
