Ample parking & bathrooms in the fee area. Decent forest trails. Lots of up and down. Easy flat river walk on paved Grist Mill Trail. Trails seem popular with mountain bikers. Started at the Forest Glen Trail head. Missed the Pig's Run Junction as there was no signage otherwise blazing and signage was good. No fee parking available at the small Hilltop Road lot.

This was an interesting trail because it had lots of different aspects such as starting through the trees, lots of rocks, stream, coming out under the bridge to a wading area and the river. My four year old struggled a bit over all the rocks and walking back that way could be difficult with kids (walking back up over a lot of rocks). We ended up coming out at grist mill, walking up to the covered bridge and walked back up to the tire park area (where we got on forest glen) through the sensory trail. The sensory trail isn’t marked and crosses over the railroad tracks. It’s more direct up to the park area and isn’t rocky at all. I really liked the forest glen trail, but it’s definitely more challenging with small kids and if you have any ankle issues.

Hiked to a nice stream and wading area.
