The Forest Glen (BLUE) and Pigs Run (PURPLE) trails are the two main trails if you are hiking from the Grist Mill trail to the HILTON area. In the Hilton area there is Camping, Pavilions, Restrooms and Drink Fountain. There is also a Playground made of tires for the Kids. Many people use this trail to travel from the Hilton Area down to the Orange Grove Area where the Swinging Bridge is located, which is another area with Picnic tables, Pavilions, Restrooms and Drink Fountain. Both areas can get very crowded on weekends and in the summertime. NOTE: These two trails are fine if the weather is dry because both are straight up or straight down and very Rocky. Please don’t hike these trails if it’s raining. They can become streams themselves. Muddy and slippery when wet.

This loop is a half up then half down. It features a stream which you will do a bit of boulder hopping up the Saw Mill. When you get to the end you will cross the stream. The white trail is the Santee. The Santee will link into the Orange Campground loop. You can go around either side of it then end near the main Hilton Park area. The Pigs Run is a very rocky trail. If you go into the park you could take a break. You can also leave the park and get on the Forest Glen trail. Both trails take you back down to the stream and back out to the Grist Mill main trail.
