Flat, easy, entirely paved trail. I would say this is more of a walk than a hike. The trail by the lake was closed for construction.

I run through the park regularly. As a single woman, I have not felt in danger anywhere in the park during daylight hours. Many people walk alone there, and everyone is friendly.

Beautiful park, great resource in the city. Some steep sections if you take Mountain Pass. But much of the trail is isolated. I wouldn't do it as a woman alone. Go in a group or at least with a man as your companion. Sorry, c'est la vie.

The lake loop is currently closed. Appreciate the Parkdale Ave parking idea. Some areas a bit isolated; use appropriate caution, don't linger after dark, &c.

I really liked being here. My favorite part was the guy playing Christmas songs on his saxamaphone. My only regret was not being fast enough to catch the stray dog

It was fun with my dogs. There is a nice 5 mile trail that loops around the whole park.

This is not a bad park to hike, bike or just walk in. Specially not bad considering it lies in a really busy part of the city. With Mondawmin Mall, Baltimore Zoo and the Glass House all within walking distance. Not much to see as far as wildlife. In the park itself are a few statues and a reservoir. Not really long but the design can make one feel as though they have traveled a bit. Spring is the best time to see this park when everything is blooming and Baltimore's humidity can be notorious if one waits until summer. I've lived near that park for almost 6years. It has gotten much better and safer.

This is a great accessible trail for urban biking and walking or running. Flat no cars and some bird wildlife. No tree coverage so can be hot during summer. Path can get scattered w kids and walkers during weekend peak times and can be tricky even w designated bike trail. Easy access within city.
