State park authority tries to limit liability by posting signs not to hike on the falls to protect the grasses. Its next to impossible for them to enforce as there are seemingly hundreds on the falls during the weekend. The trail itself is crazy easy to the falls and well maintained. The biggest challenge is avoiding the throngs in flip flops. The upper trail is moderately more difficult but uninteresting save for a couple of rock formations.
The waterfall is disappointing, you can't get close to the waterfall and all the trails are easy. this place is more for kids under 13
Not a bad hike. Less kids and people because the first section is pretty steep. My dog navigated the trails with no problems. The waterfall at the end was disappointing but a nice stop on a hot day. The view of the falls from the platform/patio they built is poor because the tree branches block the view. There were signs to stay off the falls but people were climbing all over the falls ruining any potential photo op.
All in all not a bad way to spend an hour but it wasn't very impressive.
Nice hike, steep at times but moderate hike at best. Busy on a summer weekend at the lake near by the trail in the park. Not very long but scenic. Signs were posted NOT to go on the Fall. It seemed everyone did. I started to venture out but the sign explained that it was closed off to help the area grow. So much for the Outdoors lovers... Some like being out side, but don't care about the out doors.
Beautiful trail with the waterfall for a punch line. I was surprised at how many people were on the trail in spite of all the snow. Not as many people as the lower trail but still a lot. Thanks to the snow there was a lot of water over the falls.
