great rocky, technical trail with several good ascents. about 75% of hikers were wearing masks or put them on as we approached. really surprising and disappointed at how few hikers didn't respond to a simple hello.

I didn’t find this a relaxing trail. The path was riddled with rocks so u really had to focus on where you were stepping almost the entire time. It was also narrow. Coupled with heavy traffic and a pandemic, again not relaxing. Wolf Rock was forgettable. Chimney rock was a degree better. Trail was well marked and relatively well maintained.

Nice trail. The walk along the busy road at the bottom was annoying.

Nice exercise from headquarters parking lot. Significant incline for half mile but easy enough with 9 year old. Just took lots of little breaks. Enjoyed ourselves.

Pretty awesome overall definitely do the trail counterclockwise, I didn’t do the whole loop just cause I had to meet people for dinner but had a great time all the same.

Chimney Rock was a pretty view. Rocky terrain, but to be expected. Nice Forrest views. Very humid today, so we cut the loop short.

Hiking

This hike, unlike the one I did yesterday, actually has some cool poonts of interest. Wolf rock is unluke anything I've seen in the area, and Chimney Rock has some good views. The reason why I'm giving this 3 stars is that coming back from Chimney Rock have a long steep and rocky portion- you get solidly beat up- and then after that its a rocky roller coaster. I would suggest that you consider doing this as an out and back. Save your knees- theres nothing of significance to see after Chimney rock.
