Good landscape - woods, wildflowers, streams and a pine-tree area. Not sure I would call it moderate but it was fun.

I like the Blue trail a lot. Some technical downhills with lots of roots and some quick steep inclines to get the blood pumping. The scenery is better than the orange trail. Beautiful forest with upland and lowland species of trees. Lots of fun to ride.

Went on a weekday morning in August and it was great. One mom had a 2 y/o in a backpack and another mom brought a 4 year old who had no problem on the trail, although we had/wanted to stop a few times for him to examine frogs and fungi. This is my second trip to this park and I think it’s great. The campground also looks nice.

Enjoyed a trail run on Sunday afternoon. I ran/walked the Heritage Blue Blaze Trail. This trail is marked at 3.75 however the loop is about 3.95. The course markings (blue arrows & circles) are very good making it fool proof to stay on course. It’s important to stay on course here as there’s nearby hunting. This trail is a good combination of flat & incline/decline terrain. The trail itself is well cleared with minimal obstructing tree roots.

Since this is in a forest naturally there’s a very woodsy scent. Nearly halfway through the trail there must’ve been some fresh cut trees because the woodsy scent was pretty strong, which I enjoyed. There’s several flowing streams of water on the course providing decent background noise.

I stopped here in between site visits for some shinrin-yoku. It was a great trail run because it was easy enough but with constantly changing terrain. It was scenic enough to make the run pleasant; however, it felt Remote enough to motivate me to keep running so that I didn't get stuck in the woods without camping gear. Definitely check it out if you are in the area. There's no scenic outlook. You're constantly in the woods on this trail.

Great views and well mapped out. Not always wide enough for 2 people to walk side by side.
