Nice. Did with 5 and 8 year olds. More snow than expected. Preferred the natural surface to paved, which was also busier than expected. Will go back to check it out in another season.

Nice moderately trafficked short loop. A small portion does go along the park road. I would definitely rate as easy instead of moderate. Can easily combine with other natural surface trails or paved trails for more mileage. Neat park, with lots of parking lots!

Definitely a nice hike. The trail is pretty narrow. A nice walk through the woods with some beauty stretches that you can turn around and enjoy view with the light coming down from the trees. Unfortunately the trail isn't marked the best, and we got off it for a bit but were able to hop back on. Lastly, the parking area says it is only for the boat launch, but I don't know how that is enforced and we didn't have problems.

Nice trail! Maintained well, a few bridges. Try to steer clear of the horse**** and you’ll be glad to be out here

Great trail with lots of geocaches to find. The dog did well on the trail. You do have to walk along a road for a very short span. Only saw two people on the trail this Saturday morning, so good social distancing path.

I think the name is incorrect. Should be Cabin Branch Trail (the Cabin John area is about 15 miles from here) the signs also say Cabin Branch. The trail ends at Lake Ridge Dr. You can walk along the road or cross it and take another trail back.

It’s definitely and easy trail, but it’s and old favorite. Great for running. Can easily be stretched to increase the mileage.

This trail is moderately trafficked and has tons of dog poop all over it. The trail itself is not challenging enough to be classified as moderate. Very disappointed, would not recommend.

The hike had some nice views but it was really just great for wildlife. We stumbled upon deer, squirrels, multiples species of birds, and plenty of wildflowers with multiple butterfly species and bumblebees. Really lively hike.

Not too moderate really. Easy and short. Very quiet and beautiful. Had peace.
