Please note: The marsh, beach, trails through the woods, and access to pavilions, grills, and a fishing pier are all closed right now due to COVID-19. Easy trail loop. All trails are well maintain and marked. Lots of wildlife in this natural area. The wetland trail is a pine forest with a beaver pond in the middle. There is a observation platform there. The marshes are full of waterfowl. If you also take the old oak trail you will see tons of holly trees. Nature is in balance here.

Very flooded and muddy because of the rain yesterday. This was our first time here so we didn’t quite know what to expect. We ended up driving down to Lot B and walking that trail and visiting the beach area. It ended up being a fun time!

We loved this trail. Take your boots as it is muddy and gets flooded easily. The abandoned power station is very cool and we did take the spur down to the beach. Lots of wildlife.

Took my family, including 8yo and 5yo daughters, on this awesome 2 mile hike in North Point State Park. The girls loved this hike as it was mostly flat and they got to experience wetlands, forest, and a bay beach. They also saw over 20 turtles and two different snakes (water snake and black snake). They loved being able to explore the abandoned building on the walk as well. Although it was muddy when we went, and I suspect muddy most of the time due to the proximity of the trail to the wetlands, it was a very fun hike. Perfect for families with smaller kids.

Really interesting trail with lots to see. There is a $3 park fee which is on the honor system right now. Park and trail are usually not crowded, but we passed a lot of people last weekend when we went. There's a marsh with lots of wildlife to see, a beach where you can look at lighthouses and the ruins of an old concrete pier, trails through the woods, and access to pavilions, grills, and a fishing pier (which are all closed right now due to COVID-19). Great park.

Dog friendly hike but better bird watching and wildlife. We saw our first deer after only a few minutes on the trail.

This was a terrible trail. Muddy, flooded and worst of all it was loaded with ticks. Between 2 people and two dogs we found at least 10 lone star ticks on us. Turned into a tick nightmare.

I took my pug here and we had a great time. He could walk the trail easily but it was long enough to get him some good exercise. We had fun watching and listening to all of the birds. The wetland section is very pretty.
