Beautiful pine woods that fall away to hemlock groves along the edge of the river. For a short trail it has a good number of small bridges and brooks to keep the hike interesting. Perfect afternoon hike.

Beautiful hike! There is not a lot of elevation gain so it's great for trail running. The river run trail goes right along the water and is really nice. I'm from Oregon and visiting Maine, this trail definitely reminded me of home!

Really awesome trails here. Take River Run trail for an easy walk bordering the water with great views. Or venture to the historic house and check out the beautiful garden. Great for all skill-levels and is dog friendly, with many spots to stop and have lunch along your walk.

The River Run trail was so beautiful. not a strenuous hike at all but the scenery was incredible. I went in March on a very warm day. No snow around and had 2 dogs with me. There was only one other car in the parking area so I let the pups ruin leash less although it does say they should be leashed.

Nice trail, but a bummer that our dog couldn't run free. We stopped on a lark.

Very easy, but rewards are good. Views of the river and fairly hilly woods with many stream crossings.

Really nice walk/hike. Went along Rivers Run trail to the end and then took Bridal Path back. Nice views of the river and towards the end of Bridal Path there's a nice little waterfall.

Great place for a dog walk or even a trail run. Love running the loop . Even a dog swim at hide tide if we're lucky. Nice lunch spot for fam!
A regular spot for me and pups to blow of some quick energy.

Perfect amble through a short stretch of river views and forest tundra, the lands around the historic house are well kept and reminiscent of a 19th century novel set in New England.

Nice walk around the water front. Places to sit and enjoy the views along the trial. Good for families. Dogs are welcome but they must be leashed at all times which is enforced. A little frustrating but still very enjoyable!

Very easy walking on well-groomed trails. One of the trails leads to the Hamilton House, an historic home with nice scenic views of the Salmon Falls River. A good place to have a wander and bring a picnic lunch.
