I only hiked the first portion of this trail to the top of Triad Mtn, extending my Day Mtn hike.

I found this trail to be horribly marked in the first 0.25 miles of the hike. I am not sure if it was because it was covered covered with a lot of leaves, but the blue markers were extremely hard to distinguish. As you got further up the cairns were helpful, but that first part was really annoying and definitely took longer as I had to stop and try to find the trail every point to point!

Good hike starting at Wildwood stables - tough to find parking otherwise. Started up Triad a little steep and slippery with some leaves. Up to easy cliff is interesting terrain and some steep stuff. The south ridge of Pemetic has great views of ocean islands, Jordan pond, Penobscot and Sargent mt. Back down the south ridge trail all the way to hunter brook trail and dropping off at the carriage road then back to Wildwood.
