This trail was gorgeous! I followed Old Farm Road from the parking lot, then took the Shore Road/Discovery Trail back to Old Farm Road. About 3.5 miles total. The views were beautiful and the trail was quiet.

Great Easy trail. Lots of opportunities to get close to the water. Quiet, not many other hikers. Highly recommended for an easy stroll through the woods.

Nice hike, mix of wide dirt road type trails and forest trails. Water views with several place to go down to the water including a dock you can walk out on. Bring lots of water it’s humid in the woods.

As others have said, a great trail with some picturesque views along the shore line. Most of the trail is quite wide - allowing for a wide berth from others who, in this era of COVID-19, for some reason don't feel compelled to bring a mask to put on when meeting others (side note to those folks: please don't feel compelled to greet us mask-wearers with a hearty, mask-less "hello").

Favorite trail of our Maine trip. Hardly any mosquitoes at all, and we were able to swim in the river privately. We took Timber to Old Farm to Ravine. Highly recommend, and we only saw one other person midday.

This is a lovely set of hikes. Well marked, wide trails, with wood planks over sections that might be muddy or wet. We went counter-clockwise on Timber Trail then down to the water, and caught Ravine Trail to get back to the trailhead.

Great trail- well marked. Halfway through there is a lovely spot to stop and see the water. Mostly a forest walk. Pretty easy and nice distance.

I'm not sure why this hike is rated as moderate. The paths are so wide and smooth that only the ravine trail even has blazes. There are a few roots and rocks from time to time, but this is an easy stroll through the woods. The scenery along the river is nice and the stands of red pine are beautiful. Definitely a fun little walk anyone could enjoy.

Snuck out for a quick run while the kids and husband napped in the car. It was the first time this trip that I felt like I was really on vacation.

Beautiful trail along the bay... kids loved exploring the beaches. We had fun searching the tidal pools, found so many horseshoe crabs, crabs, hermit crabs, and many other fun things. Will definitely hike this again when we are in the area!

Beautiful easy hike that leads to a private beach. Still a little muddy (beginning of April), but worth it! :) The trails are excellently marked. Will definitely be back in warmer months.
