The Bubbles are high on the list of things you should see while visiting ANP. This is the quick way to do it, if you’re lucky enough to find a parking spot. The North and South Bubbles both have great views, so be sure to summit each one. The path up to the North Bubble gets a little rocky but most people should be able to reach the top of each one without too much difficulty.

This can either be done as a connection to other trails (of which I would recommend) or as a quick pit stop to just see Bubble rock and take in the view. I would have rather connected this when doing the other trails. It can be easily accomplished in less than an hour by itself. Would recommend just to see Bubble rock and the view that is just beyond that area overlooking Jordan Pond and beyond.

South Bubble was easier and a better view. We looped around towards Eagle lake and enjoyed less traffic and the carriage path to connect back towards the parking lot

Fun and quick. Got lucky with turnoff parking nearby. Hit both Bubble summits in 90min, with stops at both Bubble tops. Excellent views of Jordan Pond from the north. Stunning.

Parking is going to be your problem here. Go early. Quick little hike and fairly easy with the iconic bubble rock picture. The kids loved the trial and the rocks to climb on

Quick hike. Crowded. You could add more and make it a longer loop.

We do this trail every year! Simple, fast, and worth it! Short hike up and down. It is steep in some areas, but totally manageable. Great views of Jordan Pond at the top.

We did just the hike up South Bubble to Bubble Rock. It was pretty steep (& a bit slick in one part) on the way up, but definitely worth it when you get to the top. Fun photo op by Bubble Rock.

Parked in Bubble Parking area which has limited parking. If you don't get out early, forget about parking here or at Jordan Pond. There are just too many cars chasing too few spaces. TAKE THE BUS! Headed down trail to Jordan Pond as we wanted to ascend the south side of South Bubble. This is the best way to go but there are a few sweet, steep scrambles. Continued to summit then over to the "bubble rock". Descended into the col then climbed up North Bubble (easy money!). Came down NB and returned to car. Perhaps the best ROI per step given the awesome views from both bubbles. Just do it!

We did both North bubble, and south bubble/ balance rock. Both were completed with a toddler in backpack and a 4 year old walking. Both had great views, but we enjoyed south/ balance rock a bit more.

I did the hike to bubble rock which is a part of this trail. The trail was good exercise and at the end you could get close to bubble rock that seems to be teetering on the edge.
