Fun but steep hike! Not much shade but wide open and very beautiful surroundings. Ate lunch and laid out in the sun up at the top before heading back down.

Completed the "Lollapalooza" trail from behind the Jordan Grand Resort.

Hiking trails at Sunday River are mostly just the ski trails sans snow. This one was rated difficult, and was definitely challenging. Approximately 1.2 miles (up and back), it was rocky and mostly steep, but wide and open. Hiked this before dawn to see the sunrise over the maine and new hampshire landscape; skilift/treeline was in the way for some of the better views, but was still very beautiful.
