Short, forested hike on a well-worn trail with exposed tree roots. The falls were absolutely exquisite! The water was crystal clear and cold (but comfortable enough to swim). Be careful when navigating the rocks as they can be deceiving lay slippery!

This trail is good for a hot day but it will be very busy. So an overcast day is best.

What a fun place to visit on a warm day. It was buggy. The trail is easy but not flat. Short hike up to falls and big pools to swim. Trail is rocky and has lots of roots. But doable with kids.

Amazing as ever

Great easy trail- did it with kids (2, 4, 8). Views were lovely. Well marked. Highly recommend. Can’t wait til it’s warmer to dip in the water. We did see some poison ivy so be careful with littles or any off-trailing.

We did this with 6 dogs and a baby, it was awesome! Not too steep, footing is good, and it was still a nice little hike to raise our heart rates some.

Great trail for kids or for hikers just starting out. We went mid May: no ice, not really muddy, and no ticks views are beautiful!!

Very easy, short hike, but it is icy. We were all in spikes and so we were fine, but saw others in sneakers sliding a lot. The falls are really pretty and there is a nice natural bench along the way to sit and eat a snack.

this trail is marked with yellow blazes and doesn't seem to follow the AllTrails map. About halfway up the route marked on AllTrails, you're cut off with a private property sign, so the hike ends up being 1.2 miles out and back. still a nice walk, especially with kids.

The trail has been modified and does not match all trails. Nice hike with a beautiful view on top

Loads of fun! Go early because it gets quite crowded. We love this nature made water park!

Excellent trail to go with kids. Trail goes along with the waterfall. Trail ends in a private property fence.

Lovely hike, love the sound of the rushing water.

It was so much fun to hike in the falls. The downer was all the private property signs along the side at regular intervals and the big steel rope across the top prohibiting further exploration. In the White Mountains I never saw such a thing. The steps made me think of NH but the signs reminded me that I was in Maine. Still, we had a great day. The kids had fun getting wet.

Agree with positive reviews. A nice hike with some scrambling, especially if you climb up the falls. One point. Your most likely be sharing with multiple visitors rather than finding solitude. The easy access to a super cool water feature attracts waders and swimmers that like to hang out in warmer weather.

Great view, fresh mountain water to dip in. It has several natural holes to sit in .I could get a book and just sit there for hours. It’s a short hike to the top. I would love to come here in fall. .

Loved this short hike to the falls. Great for a little cool swim after hiking some of the more difficult trails in the area

Easy initially becoming moderate. Beautiful atmosphere. The view from the top of the falls is what it’s all about
