This extensive trail network is the main access to over 1300 acres of pristine wildlife habitat and, combined with adjacent land in Arundel and Biddeford, makes up one of the largest un-fragmented parcels on the Southern Maine Coast. The Jim and Agnes Steele Trail is currently the longest trail and starts at the beginning of the Guinea Road. The trail crosses the highest elevation in Kennebunkport and has many large ledge outcroppings, vernal pools, and rare and uncommon flora and fauna. Other trails break off this main trail to provide trail experiences of varying lengths and difficulties.

This is an excellent hike! Today was cold and rainy, and we were looking for a hike that was challenging length-wise, but not too strenuous. This hidden gem is well-worth the hunt (GPS got us there easily) and will surely become our go-to hike for years to come. We only made it in about 3 miles due to worsening weather, but we got enough of a workout. It has gentle inclines on the rocky, rooty path that winds through beautiful, peaceful woods, but it would be considered easy by most casual and moderate hikers. I need one of those once in awhile! Will be back on a better day for the entire loop.

Wonderful trail! Very well groomed, plenty of options for both quick/easy hikes and longer moderate ones. Beautiful area.
