Great trail! We stayed on the rocks over to Wonderland then took the road a short distance back to the car. This is perfect for kids or just a slow paced walk.

I loved this trail - perfect on an overcast morning. Brings out the pink in the rocks. Very calming and beautiful. Could easily spend ours relaxing on this trail.

Easy trail with nice coastal views. Rather crowded, but the tide pool area at the tip of the peninsula was an interesting area to poke around. Focus on getting there and having a bit of time to look around.

Easy trail with little hazards. Went during overcast and spitting weather. The reds and greens popped against the grey background, and significant wave breaks. Nice and simple, and a great find after a disappointing visit to the lighthouse.

Very easy trail with some lovely views along the way. There are multiple spots to explore the rocks and tide pools along the water or just to relax and enjoy the view

It was definitely a shorter, but beautiful trail. Managed in sneakers at the end of a long day in hiking boots, but were a few rocky and rooty areas on the trail with some slight elevation changes. Saw several varieties of gulls, a great blue heron and then managed to catch two eagles chasing a gull along the shore. It was pretty spectacular.

Awesome little trail that offers a wide variety of the sights Acadia has to offer. Takes you through forest, around a harbor, and along the open coast. One word of caution, however, is that the trail does have a good bit of elevation change and some areas where climbing over rocks in required. We chose this trail because of it's easy ratings and a few of the older folks in our group struggled with the rocks.

Easy, dog friendly trail with breathtaking view. Take a few steps off the trail to a picturesque scene of moss and brush.

A nice, easy hike to some beautiful views. We started on the east side and ended on the west side, which I would recommend so that you get the best views the second portion of the hike. Half way through you stop at the rocky shoreline and can walk along the coast.

This is an easy and pleasant trail. The way is well marked and can be heavily trafficked at times. The parking can be tough on busy days or times. I went late in the afternoon and it wasn't too busy. There was an abundance of wildflowers and rocky beach areas.

Easy hike with 7 year old kids. Great view and access to the tidal pools to see snails and other wildlife. Bathroom is more of an outhouse and no water at the trail head. Great, flat easy hike.

Really nice. Figure “8” shaped with the water on one side and a forest trail on the other. We went at low tide and could go explore tide pools. Early morning after seeing the sun rise meant no other people on the hike with us which was nice

Perfect trail for families and any one looking for a short easy loop trail. It’s a figure 8 and one side does along the coast and has areas where you can go down to the rocky shore. The other side is through the forest. There is some calm bays perfect for skipping rocks. It was pretty well traveled. There are bathrooms located in the parking area. Trail is in the middle of the parking. We didn’t have any issues with bugs at all, and it had rained that morning.

This was a great little trail. We went counterclockwise so that the second half of our views were coastal and it was perfect! It’s rated as easy but definitely keeps you engaged with its short rock paths and access to the water in some parts. We didn’t have too much of a bug issue but I can imagine the mosquitoes would be bad with more humidity.
