The trail head was difficult to locate but the trail itself was well marked. There is a natural spring about a mile from the summit that was a nice treat! Blueberries everywhere we turned, and the view at the summit was spectacular! As a newbie hiker I would not categorize this as an easy hike.

Good hike with excellent views of Attean Lake. Two mile walk on train tracks followed by 1.6 mile wooded trail to the top that becomes relatively steep near the summit. Total elevation gain was about 1100ft. Plenty of rocky areas at the top to have a snack or view the surrounding lakes and mountains.
