Whole family enjoyed- ages 4-40 and varying abilities. About 2 hours to complete at a slow pace (4 year old led most of the way). Lots of blueberries to eat and mushrooms and moss to view. Not too muddy; boards covered the worst parts. Nice young kid hike but with interesting parts (blueberries, boards) to interest older kids.

Great trails for kids and dogs. We enjoy walking the trail loop through the forest, then going down the road to the beach to relax. The beach (pond side) also has bathroom facilities, a play ground, picnic area and swimming. Dog families should note that dogs are not permitted on the beach. Best time of year to hike, if you prefer to be alone in the woods, is during the Spring and Fall months.

This is a super chill hike with nice scenery. Summer months get a bit busy. It's also a great place to take the dog. In the winter, this is a great little trail to do some snowshoeing.
