The trail is great for family hiking. The easy to moderate terrain offers views of wetlands, vernal pools, stonewalls, and a diversity of majestic trees including hemlock, pines, oaks and maples. The North Branch of the Little River, a tributary of the Presumpscot River, winds through this section of forest. The 1.5 mile loop trail is phase one of the Randall Orchards Forest Trails project and is open for public use during daylight hours for walking, biking, snowshoeing and skiing. The land is owned by the Randall Family, so please stay on the trails.

this has been my dog walking grounds for a couple years now, as well as my childhood woods. Excited to see some trails put in. You cant go wrong with an apple orchard right next to the trail!

A wonderful walk through thick forest next to the Randall Orchards. Be sure to buy to apples in the fall. The trail meanders over uneven ground and marked with blue blazes and a few trail signs. Should be a good snowshoe hike in the winter and will have to return after a good snowfall. More trails are expected in 2019 and 2020.
