We were finally able to access the trail, as it was closed until October. Wide trail, steady incline, stay to the left when you get to the fork in tge trail. Great views at the top. Park on road, private driveway, no parking.

Hiked it this weekend and found it to be a great trail with kids - wide path, not too much climbing and a nice open space with beautiful views at the top. We spent about an hour at the top while the kids played. The only tricky part was accessing the trail. I followed directions provided through the All Trails link and while it brings you to the right place, the trail is not marked. We parked on Bridge Street and walked down Picket Mountain Road (which is marked private) until we found the trail. The other thing to know is to stay left at the fork in the trail, through the gate.

Really beautiful large trail with amazing views at the top. Just stay to the left once you run into a fork in the trail. :) drive all the way to the end of the dirt road to find the trail we just parked off to the side of the road.

Dont bother. Went to hike and was tracked down and informed the trail was locked until October. No signs, hard to find. Parking on busy road.
