Decent mixed level hike; folks suffering from knee/leg issues will benefit from poles on the way down, but they’re not essential.

Beautiful scenic overlooking the ocean. Little cloudy today but still nice views of the changing leaves and of the coastline

Great views from the top. Great place to take a book and read. Trail is mostly rocky or slabs of granite be careful if rainy or foggy can get very slippery.

Gorham mountain trail was great! Just the right amount of difficulty and variability! Nice views from the top.

This is one of our fave hikes. Going up, Cadillac cliffs is more difficult but just boulder scrambling, 2 short 3 rung iron ladder, take Gotham mountain path for an easier route. 1 mild along beach is highly trafficked because of thunder hole however there are beautiful views along the way. Take short hike up and back to the bowl is highly recommended as long as it’s not too buggy

Great trail. I highly recommend taking the small offshoot trail, Cadillac Cliffs. It has a small boulder cave and beautiful cliffs. Gotham Mountain is a great view especially at the top. My least favorite part of this walk is the Ocean Path which is right next to all the exhaust from the cars driving right next to you.

Pretty but quite crowded. The first 1/4 mile of the trail is rough to walk on, with jagged rocks everywhere, but after that it smooths out.

The last 200ft on the way up can get pretty steep, but the vistas are worth it! Very rocky - wear stout boots and bring a pole for balance if you need it. We took our time and stepped out to enjoy some amazing views

Great trail, although muddy in spots. Highly recommend the Cadillac cliff spur and the trip to the Bowl.

Beatiful trail with outstanding views from the top - but should be listed as “moderate”, not “easy”. It is constant uphill, pretty steep (wooded trail) and with many large steps.

Great Summit with fun terrain. Our puppy loved it too!

Did this 11 July 2017 with my wife and three daughters (10, 7, and 4) and had a blast. The 4-year old did great, although I did carry her about the last 2 tenths of a mile as we approached the parking lot on the descent. 7 and 10 year old kids really had no trouble. There were only a couple of spots that are challenging; most of it is a reasonable incline with some areas a bit more steep. Views are gorgeous of the surrounding area. Definitely do this if you're in Acadia.

Perfect for our family of 5 (Mom and Dad, 10, 9 and 5 year old)! We actually continued on to the Gorham mountain to the ocean trail and loved the views!! Would definitely do this hike again!

Pretty rocky, but very cool views over Frenchman Bay

Great trail, beautiful views. Moderately challenging. Dog friendly, however we did have to carry her (adult German Shepherd) down from a couple of tall rocks as it was a bit dangerous in sections. Decent amount of Ricky sections with a good incline. Be careful not to accidentally take the Cadillac cascade trail if you have a dog, like we did (more advanced, monkey bars, not dog friendly).

Great spot to catch a quiet sunrise.

Great trail. Great view from the top. My kids loved the moderate challenge. There is a difficult portion of the trail that is a must do. Bring a lot of water if it is hot and humid. Cool off at sand beach after the hike.
