Beatiful trail with outstanding views from the top - but should be listed as “moderate”, not “easy”. It is constant uphill, pretty steep (wooded trail) and with many large steps.

Great Summit with fun terrain. Our puppy loved it too!

Did this 11 July 2017 with my wife and three daughters (10, 7, and 4) and had a blast. The 4-year old did great, although I did carry her about the last 2 tenths of a mile as we approached the parking lot on the descent. 7 and 10 year old kids really had no trouble. There were only a couple of spots that are challenging; most of it is a reasonable incline with some areas a bit more steep. Views are gorgeous of the surrounding area. Definitely do this if you're in Acadia.

Perfect for our family of 5 (Mom and Dad, 10, 9 and 5 year old)! We actually continued on to the Gorham mountain to the ocean trail and loved the views!! Would definitely do this hike again!

Pretty rocky, but very cool views over Frenchman Bay

Great trail, beautiful views. Moderately challenging. Dog friendly, however we did have to carry her (adult German Shepherd) down from a couple of tall rocks as it was a bit dangerous in sections. Decent amount of Ricky sections with a good incline.

Be careful not to accidentally take the Cadillac cascade trail if you have a dog, like we did (more advanced, monkey bars, not dog friendly).

Great spot to catch a quiet sunrise.

Great trail. Great view from the top. My kids loved the moderate challenge. There is a difficult portion of the trail that is a must do. Bring a lot of water if it is hot and humid. Cool off at sand beach after the hike.
