Downhillers were pretty slow. Very icy, downhill coming between north and south bubbles was a dream though. Climbing up south bubble is a great start to a hike and finishing between the two is a great end

The North Bubble is my favorite view in Acadia. Such a wonderful spot, amazing for photos. We parked at the Jordan Pond House and walked along the lake. It’s icy out there, so stay safe!

Well marked. North bubble was pretty, not much of a view from South bubble. Nice quick hike

It's a fun and quick hike if you just head up straight from the parking lot to the North bubble and then come back and zip over to the south bubble. There's a lot of foot traffic but the views are amazing and it's a fun and quick hike.

This is an in-and-out trail to the Bubble Rock Overlook. It's a short and easy trail but once you get to the overlook area, you will be greeted with an amazing view.

pushed it again with a 5&7 year old. good vertical over a short distance. they did south and north bubble, but spent most of their energy trying to knock the rock off the top. go clockwise. once you to the "hard" part you're right there at south bubble. its all down hill from there. also I think your a maniac for bringing a dog up the final push to s. bub. more crazy for carrying a full sized dog down after doing the trail counter clockwise.

Beautiful trail! The trail to the North Bubble was steeper and rocky; It rained yesterday so the rocks were a bit slippery. Beautiful view from both bubbles. Keep an eye on the map to turn off the trail for the real bubble rock.

Nice hike. Started from Jordan Pond house. Jordan Pond trail on east loop is level, soft and for any age. The west side is mostly two side-by-side boards (well put together) along with a rocky area once you near the opposite end of the pond. They added extra sections so hikers can pass easily. Views were great - Fall colors all around. Trail up to South Bubble could be difficult for some. You will have some rock scrambling and come upon one location with an iron rung to assist. Amazing views looking over Jordan Pond from top. A short path leads to Bubble Rock. Another short hike toward North Bubble brings you to an intersection with Bubble Divide trail. Left takes you to the western side of Jordan Pond. The right takes you to Bubble parking lot and the trail to North Bubble. The sign does not tell you which way North Bubble is. Our Phone connection was sketchy. A bit crowded. Jordan Pond parking area is always a madhouse. Definitely worth doing.

Short, quick hike to the North Bubble from the parking area. We went for sunset and it was much easier to park and way less crowded.

Very enjoyable hike. Went up North Bubble at the split first. North Bubble has more elevation gain but not very difficult. I had my son in the backpack carrier and it was manageable. Unfortunately the fog limited our view at the top. I’d do it again

Very nice trail - mostly going up and on rocks so not suitable for small dogs unless you want to carry them

Short and sweet, decent amount of incline to North Bubble. About 1.2 miles up, we did it taking our time in just under an hour. We didn’t go to South Bubble, since it was super foggy and not much of a view at that point

Great hike with many views. Hard to grab parking with no Island Explorer this year but we were able to get a spot just down the road.

Steps make it not a difficult trail to traverse, but definitely puts a toll on your knees on the way down. South Bubble had Bubble Rock, which is always a highlight. North Bubble doesn't get many visitors but gives an incredible view of Jordan Pond and the valley. North is taller than South so be aware for a longer hike up!
