Great trail loved the smell of salt water and pine and the rocky beach at the end where we watched some seals! Hiked with 5 kids(10-5) and my brother and my mother!

The trail heads up over a ridge of ledge then back down near the water where it stays in the woods up above the shoreline to offer tantalizing peeks out over the water. The grand finale is when the trail finally dumps out onto the granite at the shoreline revealing spectacular views of islands and Chandler Bay.

We really enjoyed this trail but there are lots of roots and rocks. Was glad I had good hiking boots with ankle support and my hiking pole. The view of the water was beautiful.

It was amazing! Went in the fall and the colors made me think of another world. Got a bit soaked as much of the trail had shrubbery you had to brush through and it was extremely wet. Suggest going at low tide if you do the loop with the shore connector
