I would not recommend this hike! I am a very avid hiker and jave huked many mountains. The map is very deceiving, it shows that you can hike about 4.7 miles to the summit, then hike back down. That is completely inaccurate! The Miles Notch trail actually snakes up and down aroumd the mt, never reaching the summit and ending abruptly on an old access/atv road 8.1 miles later! The end of the trial is 15ish miles away from the Hut RD entrance. In addition to the trail ending abruptly, it is not well marked. Lets just say my huke ended with meet 2 very nice Game Wardens!
