Short hike with one steep area, we brought snowshoes but left them in the car. Trail is well marked, parking lot is not plowed.

The summit is gorgeous! Pack a lunch and bring a book to hang out up there a bit!

We had fun, brought our dog and enjoyed the views from multiple spots while up around the summit. There is a rock face down its own trail from the top (not part of the loop) that you can go out on that is a bit steep, but well worth the extra ten minutes--way better views. We'll definite do this again!

Hiked this mountain with my 4 year old son and our dog, he did amazing. Some steep points he had a little bit of a hard time with. But over all simple to follow and the view is amazing at the summit.

Very clearly marked trails. A fun, relatively short loop that probably doesn't warrant the moderate rating.
Very pleasant though, and there are plenty of great views from the summit.
It was rainy tonight, so the descent was a bit slippery, but very manageable.
If it was closer to me, I'd go often.

This trail is a short hike into the Bald Pate trail system. Take a left at the junction for a short distance and take the Pate Trail to the top. Do not do this trail if the trail is wet. From the top, take the South Loop Trail back to the Micah Trail. Great variety in trails.
