This is a great easy/moderate hike. It's short but has enough elevation change in sections to work the legs and lungs so you don't feel cheated by the end of the hike. The views at the summit are worthy of much higher and harder climbs. The summit has at least three unobstructed vantage points of the distant terrain and bodies of water so you can get away from the masses and still reap the rewards. Would be a great introductory trail for frequent hikers to take kids, dogs, or friends who are new to the trails in this area. Please note: this trailhead only has 4 parking spot, but there is another parking area just up the road.

Great trail, with multiple views at the top each better than the next. Not too long, but it is steep. Good for young hikers. Plus no bugs. A really worthwhile hike!

I hike this trail system regularly and it offers a number of great short moderate hikes with good short climbs and a gorgeous view. No mosquitoes yet, but LOTS of gnats so plan accordingly for those! Yes the Micah trailhead has only 4 parking spots, on a sunny day you may well have trouble parking there. Luckily there is *another huge parking lot just a few mins drive up the main road*, as there are many similar length trails that connect from there to the summit. The previous reviewer is incorrect - lots of other trails within a five minute drive, and both the map right on this trail’s page as well as the trailhead at Micah show this on a huge map if you pull over and get out of your car to look, so not sure how they were searching. Anyone who has been out hiking during the pandemic knows that you always have to have a few backups and do your research ahead of time. And there are plenty everywhere, this app is so helpful to find them!

**Updated 6/14/2020, tried this trail again and was able to get a parking spot! We went to the left first and it was a steeper climb. Very much enjoyed ourselves! It was very buggy though even with bug spray. *6/10/2020 VERY limited parking spaces. Sign says not to park on the road, no more than 3-4 cars can park if people park badly (via Micah trail). We drove 40 min and we were unable to hike because of parking. Have a back up hike planned just in case!

Full day! Mika to the page trail and then the southern part of the loop trail back to the parking lot. So Wintergreen blossoming a few wet spots on trails but well-maintained. Do have to say that the pig trail is listed as .1 and .2 miles when looking at maps, but we measured it at .5 hiking.g

This is a great easy/moderate hike. It's short but has enough elevation change in sections to work the legs and lungs so you don't feel cheated by the end of the hike. The views at the summit are worthy of much higher and harder climbs. Judging by the worn trails and the number of people we ran in to along the way in April, this trial likely is packed during the busy season for these reasons. The summit has at least three unobstructed vantage points for enjoying the distant terrain and bodies of water, so you can get away from the masses somewhat for lunch and still reap the rewards. A bit muddy in spots, but what trail isn't this time of year? Would be a great trail for frequent hikers to take kids, dogs, or friends who are not really "hikers."

Quick and pretty easy trail - top view point is very pretty. Hiked it in mid April and a lot of the lower trails were pretty muddy.

Nice quick trail. Clockwise is steeper going up better for the knees.

This is a great cardio trek! Not too far to the top, but rewards with excellent views! Plenty of areas at the top to sit, stretch out and picnic if desired. If you go straight up Micah and veer right, the trail is pretty easy to follow, but does get rocky and steep in places. I took the south face trail on the way down (loop) and it was a bit of a scramble in places, but there are tree for gripping. Some lovely shade for the descent. Got caught in a strong yet brief rainstorm, and it was glorious. Awesome workout, manageable in an hour.

Very well marked and enjoyable hike. Wish I knew about connections to other trails to make it a bit longer. Great views!

Great hike with well marked trails. The loop has consistent elevation gains but very manageable. Fantastic views at the summit with numerous shady spots to picnic on bald granite. Hike down is steep in spots which shouldn’t be problematic unless it just rained. The temp was hot and humid but given the trail is through dense canopy heat isn’t a barrier. Overall great hike totaling about 1:20 minutes. Only encountered two other groups throughout the loop on a Saturday mid morning hike.

Our second time hiking this trail. Parking lot fits maybe 5 vehicles, not sure if parking on the road is allowed. 90% of the hike is in shade, so bug spray is a must. There are a few muddy spots but most of them have been bridged, and the ones that aren’t are easy to get around. The view is beautiful and there’s plenty of flat space at the top for a picnic. Took us 1 hr and 20 min. Keeping this on my Favorites list to do again.

Nice gradual incline at the beginning with some steep parts towards the end that were enough to make my 5 year old tired by the end. The views are incredible!

Loved the trail. Perfect for a short walk if you only have an hour or two. We took the Bob Chase trail up and then the loop back. Next time will also take the South Face trail but we were short on time. Nice, gradual ascent easy on the knees and nice views in several spots of the mountains and lakes. We will be back!

Short hike with one steep area, we brought snowshoes but left them in the car. Trail is well marked, parking lot is not plowed.
