Long Reach Preserve: Long Reach Loop is a 1.7 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Harpswell, Maine that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from May until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail.

Really nice trail with a good layout. Make sure you take insect repellent for the mosquitoes and deer flies. Beware of the ticks.

Not enough water view to make it worth the mosquitoes. There are also some steep parts made treacherous by pine needles. I'd be willing to try it again in early spring or late fall when there are fewer bugs around.
