Great trail. A bit muddy in spots, bring the bug spray. Wild blueberries all along the trial. Gorgeous summit! Worth it.

Hiked this morning, even though I ventured off trail to seek out a waterfall, my instruments had the out and back route to the summit of Pleasant Mountain at approx. 4,3 miles. First quarter was muddy and buggy. Trail is well marked and rocky. Took us 2 hours and 15 min. Nice views of Moose Pond at 1 mile overlook. Not too crowded when we left at 8 am, by 10:15 parking lot was full

Great trail. Definitely challenging and took us longer than the estimated time. There were bugs at the top but oddly they were swarms of dragonflies?? Bugs on the trail were minimal. Some of the inclines were pretty intense, and they way down was a very hard on the knees (that’s coming from a beginner hiker though!). Great time and beautiful view at the top!

Wonderful hike, cant wait to go back. The bugs weren't bad though the trail, but significant at the summit! Couldnt bear it to long.

Nothing that hasn’t been said before - great, easy hike. Up and down via Ledges. Gets crowded quick. At about mile 1, you’ll start getting some shots from the overlooks. Clear days like today provide you with 360° views. Still a little buggy at the summit, but not insufferable.

Hiked June 5, 2020. Pretty moderate hike app things considered. Hiked right after a thunderstorm so muddy with wet leaves. Trail is very easy to follow. I’d say about 2 viewpoints before you hit the summit. Took little over two hours to hike. Spent a bit on the summit but not too long. Great views for a short hike. Highly recommend.

Only one car in the parking lot at 9, but I did see a few more people coming down as I went up, so they were doing a loop. Bugs not too bad until the summit, when they were quite present. No one else on the summit when I was there. Nice views of Mt. Washington still covered in snow.

Hiked ledges out and back last weekend. I’ve done this several times before and it is a great hike for the distance. Trail is clear, well marked

Great hike today to the summit. Spectacular views of snow capped Mt. Washington. Only one muddy spot close to the beginning of the trail. The bugs weren't bad at all.

Great day for a hike yesterday - not really muddy, only a few bugs when you stand still. Gorgeous area and not too crowded! We saw a black bear about a mile in, possibly with a cub, so we walked right out without finishing the hike :) We told the few hikers we passed who were heading in and they seemed calmly interested and unphased. Beautiful and terrifying experience!

great hike today, not all that busy. folks are responsibly practicing social distancing. mud at start of trail periodically (to be expected, it's mud season). black flies are out, but not horrible. steady, moderate grade with switch backs. good family hike. gorgeous, clear view of Washington & presidential range today.

Great hike at a fairly gradual incline, no rock scrambles. Great hike to take with the dogs, with a great view of the white mountains from the top. This time of year absolutely bring good big repellent as the black flies are thick. A little muddy at the start, but that clears up within the first 20 or so minutes of walking. Great hike overall!

FYI- All trails were closed today. The parking lot was full so I assume some folks chose to disregard the signs. Purposely came here after reading that trails had been closed at Burnt Meadow. Bummer. Giving five stars based on past hikes.

Pretty steady moderate grade. Well marked trail. It was a bit wet at the bottom but no ice to worry about on the way up, given the temp hit 50 today. Great views starting at the ledge a mile up and proceeding to the summit. I was moving pretty quick and did it in 1h45m. Would recommend.
