Getting There

A network of color-blazed trails (white, blue, red, and yellow) as well as a snowmobile trail across the property allow visitors to explore this recently conserved preserve. A few other short/spur trails provide trail connections or scenic views. Visit Knight's Pond, or follow trails into the woods through oak-hickory forests and alongside vernal pools. Trails crossing Blueberry and Bruce Hills provide for some nice elevation changes. Snowshoeing and skiing are permitted, though trails are not managed specifically for these uses.

I arrived after a night of heavy rain. Few bugs or mud interrupted my walk. I was passed by a rail runner and one mountain biker. Dogs under voice command (off leash is ok). Lily pads in bloom. Stream teeming with minnows. A good variety of terrain and scenery.

It’s a nice fairly technical biking trail.

Nicely taken care of, good conditions. Nice low key walk through the woods with some roots and rocks but clear enough. Quiet, would be fun to mountain bike. We did the white to the red loop which was 3 miles exactly.

If you have a dog who likes to swim, bring them here! It’s a great trail that can go longer or shorter depending on your mood or the weather and your pup can take a paddle in the pond.

Great trail system. Would recommend to anyone. I’m four months into recovering from a broken femur and was a great walk! Definitely will be back.

Absolutely beautiful hidden gem we never knew was here. Amazing for dogs and little ones. We loved exploring the tails and completed about 4.5 miles. Near the water the was a family of geese with three little goslings...cute!! :-)

Fun trail along the pond. We took the white to red trail. Kids liked walking across the dam, although there is an alternative safe route. Lots of seclusion in certain parts

This trail skirts the east side of the pond and continues to the power line with a great view. Although not well marked it is easy to follow. well worth the trip.

The pond was beautiful. Blueberry hill didn’t have much to see and was muddy in places but still a good workout

This new 300-acre preserve and the conserved landscape is popular for ice skating, fishing, dog walking, mountain biking, snowmobiling, hunting, and more. The trails are well marked and traveled so they are very easy to follow. The varied terrain makes the loop a nice trek through a dense forest. Perfect for mountain biking.
