It's a cute 2 mile walk along a paved path parallel to the railroad tracks that leads to Hollowell.

easy and beautiful

We enjoyed an unseasonably warm midday walk from Augusta to Hallowell. The snow was cleared from the trail and it was without obstacles. We saw other walkers and joggers throughout the length of this section. Only one dog was out, and it was not leashed, but it weighed less than five pounds. Adults of all ages seemed to be enjoying the walk and most responded to our greetings with, "How's it going?".
