This is a great trip, this is the fastest white water in Maine. I personally do not kayak yet but I am a raft guide on the river. The trip is good because you can do the upper river, lower river, or both. The upper river is where the majority of the rapids are. If you are looking to raft the kennebec go to www.adv-bound.com, or call 1-888-606-RAFT

Whitewater rafting (I did not kayak, but people do. You must be able to roll over 10 times to kayak the Kennebec). Class III and IV rapids. Even if you are new to rafting, you will love the Kennebec! I suggest you raft with Three Rivers (1-800-UGORAFT).
*The amount of time down the river varies with the CFS.
