Nice walk. Great views of the pond and surrounding areas. Very relaxing. Lots of people so some traffic jams but not too bad. There were multiple parking lots for the pond and got lost at night looking for the parking lots. My suggestion would be to park as close to the pond as possible, otherwise it gets very dark at night.
Easy walking trail 2 mi to start of the ascent which is moderately difficult. Some areas near the top require flexibility and good traction shoes. The bubble was a marvel (alas could not move it). The descent was a bit treacherous with fallen, slippery leaves covering the jagged rocks.
Beautiful views you don’t have to work hard for. A must do trail on the island.
Absolutely beautiful trail. The views are gorgeous and totally worth the trip. The off shoot is going up half of the bubble rock trail and back down to pick up a member of the trip we left for bad knee reasons. Download the map or have it pulled up because there is little to no reception in the park. You will not get lost on this trail, but a map is always nice to have
Great hike around the pond with varied terrain from flat gravel, wood planks, to small rock scramble.
Nice and easy hike. Parking lot was packed but trail wasn’t too bad
Beautiful easy hike. Lots of little bird hotspots which was super cool to observe. Pretty busy but we found parking right away.
