HikingGreat!

You’ll see a parking pull off then a gate that says no trespassing the trail is right before that gate on your left and isn’t marked at all. Once your on the trail it’s straight up the whole way but only a little over a half mile up and down. Easy to follow the trail and really quick beautiful hike. I wouldn’t have known where to even hike if I wouldn’t have asked a local for help finding it. Follow the all trails map as well. Views are incredible. Happy hiking :)

HikingGreat!

Trailhead and first section up to the loop aren't clearly marked with blazes. Other than that this was a fun hike. Great views on the ledge overlooking Howard Pond and the mountains of western Maine.

The trail was a little confusing as many of the paths had the same color markings. Nice view of Howard Pond at the top

The trail head is to the left of the keep out signs. The trail is marked, and has beautiful views. Took our , and she loved it. Short, beautiful, with stretches of climbing.

Tried hiking here today, but the trailhead had signs that said "keep out" and "access by permission only." Seems like its a trail only for those who know the landowner

First to Review

Not exactly a walk in the park. 390 vertical steep right as you start. Nice views and beautiful forest. Awesome campsite on the east side of the loop. Nice walk. Wouldn’t rate it easy but maybe easier than moderate.
