Loved this trail! Not too difficult of an ascent pretty constant slope with one section of iron rings to climb like a ladder. Beautiful panoramic views for most of the second half and glimpses of the coast most of the trail. Decently well marked- we accidentally followed Cadillac cliff trail for a small part which luckily connected back to Gorham and added some splendid cliff face and rock climbing sections.

We did this trail after the beehive climb so it was a nice steady hike in comparison. There’s part in the shade and through the forest which was beautiful but then climbing over large flat boulders to a view of the water.

We did this trail today, started out in the rain, so the ocean path leading to Gorham Mountain was pretty quiet... we loved our hike!! The rain cleared but it was not crowded on the trail, the rocks were fun and my dog handled it without a problem. Views were gorgeous! Elevation at only 525 was enough for me!!

drizzly, foggy day made for an uncrowded hike....and it's still gorgeous. I heart Acadia

short but beautiful hike. we did the entire Ocean Path and then took this detour up the mountain. it was drizzling when we started so there weren't many people on it, but once the rain stopped and sun came out, hundreds of people decended on the mountain and trail. I proposed to my now fiance at the top. loved this trail.

Great hike, we took Cadillac Cliffs spur going up Gorham which then connects back up to main trail. We decended down the other side to the Bowl Trail then on to Sand Beach where we walked back to the trailhead via the Ocean Path trail.

Gorgeous! Nothing too challenging (saw everyone from toddlers to elderly), and amazing views. Take the Cadillac Cliffs for a little detour and small challenge. One of Acadia’s best trails.

Loved this hike. We did this with two kids in backpack carriers. When you come to the plaque in the rock go past to the right. We went up the trail on the left. The hike is steep, but our 5 & 7 year olds climbed and loved it! There were two times we thought we reached the summit, but weren’t there yet. The first had the best view of the ocean. The true top has a marker and was a little busy. Not as great as a view on the way down the kids wanted to go the other path down. This one was the path on the left. The marker mentioned Cadillac mountain. This was much more of a challenge. We spoke with people at the top that said they had come that way and it was completely doable. There were big boulders to climb over and two rungs. It was steep and more challenging, but we all thought this was the beat part of the hike. This has been our favorite hike so far in Acadia.

a great trail! we took the cadillac cliffs turn off and it was gorgeous, i would highly recommend!! sometimes it was hard to find markers but you could guess where the trail went pretty easily. some rocky sections at some parts but manageable and there were some gorgeous views at the top!!

Beautiful trail with views everywhere you looked. Hiked on 5th of July 2019 with peek tourism so there was way to many people on the coast part of the hike. But still a gorgeous hike. 84degrees and perfect weather.

Parked at Gorham Mtn trailhead parking area. Started up Gorham Mtn Trail to summit then descended north side of peak onto the Bowl Trail. Crossed the road onto the Ocean Path and returned to parking area. Wonderful ocean views and views of the Beehive. Enjoy!

Great trail to avoid the crowds and the breathtaking views are totally worth it! There is a lot of rock climbing so you do want to be in some decent shape! But most of all a lot of fun!

A great trail with some vast views of the south east side of Acadia. It’s a good workout, but nothing unmanageable. Nothing crazy but a good rugged hike that will take you and hour and half if your stopping for pictures and going a moderate pace. We went to the top and back down the same way, but could have gone down to the bowl and looped around if we wanted it to last longer.

We included this summit on a hike which included a couple other nearby peaks. Beautiful views and some really interesting rock formations and trails as you head down from the summit toward the road/ocean.
