We only did the section from A Murray young path to the summit of Cadillac mountain. Lots of fun climbing. Not good with rain

Great trail. Started off easy then moderate and finished hard. Definitely worth the view!

This was a phenomenally beautiful trail. I wouldn’t have gone down it because it was so wet. We went down North Ridge (in the dark). My 2 vizslas had no problem hiking it, but they are mountain goats.

The trail was tough but completely worth it for the view. Some rock scrambles and rough terrain.

I started at the bottom of this trail and hiked up to Cadillac mountain. There are only a few parking spots at the bottom. This trail goes from easy to moderate to hard. I was using hands and feet to get up the final portion. Unfortunately, a fog blew in and there was no view at all from the top. There was a very small waterfall on the way up and some interesting mushrooms. I decided to hike back down Cadillac north and walk to my car. I didn’t want to risk going back down the wet rocks.

Did this hike coming down from Cadillac Mountain. Very rocky, but with good shoes you'll be fine. Very peaceful.

Great trail- lots of rocky ‘stairs’. Beautiful gorge & small waterfall. Our dog loved this trail with the water & rocks. Last section to Cadillac summit was a bit tougher for the pup- only had to assist once on the way up but a few times on the way down. Shaded & comfortable when we started around 11:45am on 9/15.

Really enjoyable trail! Shorter than I expected. For a regular hiker, it’s not a huge effort for an incredible reward. The view is awesome. A lot of the trail is walking along a nice little river. Constant steps of rock up and once you start climbing on the boulders near the top you can see the view!

Perfect return trail from Cadillac sunrise via the north ridge, back to my car. So glad I took this instead of going back down the ridge!

Difficult way down. Some scrambling. Did the Cadillac Mountain north ridge up and Gorge path down. Both challenging but worth it

This was a stunning path. We chose to take this path up to the Dorr Summit and descended on the North Ridge Trail. It’s been dry with limited rain and it was still refreshing. We did this with our 8 and 5 yo kiddos - lots of breaks and snacks but doable! They loved having “nature’s air conditioning” as they sat within the gorge enjoying their applesauce packs. The scramble to the top of Dorr was great as well! A little bum shove or hand extended to our 5 yo but she did it.

Really enjoyed this trail. If doing the Cadillac mountain sunrise hike, I suggest taking the Northridge trail up, and then when descending take this trail down. The sunrise will be right in your face as you hike down. I also suggest taking this trail down because there are some steeper areas that would be challenging to do in the dark.

Just did Gorge on the way down from Cadillac (took the North Ridge up)... Surprisingly no bugs, a bit dark because ~2.5 hours before sunrise, rained the day before but rocks weren’t too slippery. Much fast way down than North Ridge, I would say!! Love going up Gorge too, it’s quick and dirty, lots of steps and can be pretty buggy. On the top, no shade and easy to get lost (you can tell instantly if you get lost, though).

We went up the Gorge trail then down the north trail, it was a bit buggy on the bottom, flat part, but got better as we ascended! Brought my dog and she was able to climb it no problem!!
