Unless you are staying close by parking will be an issue.

There is no public parking at this beach and nobody around at 9:30am to talk to about a permit. Drove all the way out for nothing.

Our favorite beach! It’s beautiful year round and is constantly changing! Beautiful at sunrise and at sunset on either points! Also nice location for kayaking and paddle boarding.

We enjoyed a beautiful spring day on the beach. Minimal parking is available, so this beach in summer would be out of the question at any midday hours. This "trail" is essentially a walk on the beach. For us, it was perfect. Our dog was on a long retractable leash and she had a great time. Only cautions would be to consider this primarily for off-season visits; no facilities, no (fresh) water, no toilets, no food sales available.

Great Beach been going there for 45 years. It is in a Cove so the tide change is 500 to 700 yards.

Disappointed that there was no easy parking/access to the beach. I used to spend vacations during my childhood at this beach and was looking forward to being on the beach again. The permit was 15 dollars and it had to be paid in cash. Again, very disappointing.

I live in kennebunk and this is one of my favorite walks, it calms you down and brings you back to earth... Highly recommended

Definitely one of my favorite Maine beaches. In love with it here...beautiful, quiet, and long (in Maine standards) straight stretch of beach

Running

It's a beach not a trail and I went running at sunrise which made it beautiful. Stay away if you don't like dogs, it should be called dog lovers beach because that's all you'll see.

I'm sure the evening weather played a part but this was a wonderful evening and night time stroll. We walked end to end. Sunset was beautiful tinting both the sky and water various shade of pink and purple. The moon was nearly full and glistening off the water and only a few people were out making us feel as though we had the place to our selves.
