This was more like a walking path along the ocean cliffs. My 3 year old did this with ease and loved sitting on the small beach area at the start of the trail to have a lunch break. There are several other trails near by on the island that are also worth the hike.

Easy and gentle walk, I wouldn't consider it a hike. Beautiful scenery

Beautiful rocky coastline scenery but don't look down at all of the cigarette butts. Due to it's location near summer rentals and short trail length, it's obvious many lazy cigarette smokers waddle down this trail to "experience" nature and leave their filth behind.

This is the best place in Maine, we go here all the time. it is annoying when the tourists arrive because it's hard to find parking, but always worth it! My 6 year old son thinks it's very rocky and pretty.

This trail is short but well worth a visit for the views and the spectacular rock formations.
