Great place to come hang out for a few hours. Though the trail itself is short, there's plenty to do in each direction. Explore the fort, walk up to the lighthouse, walk on the beach to collect rocks and shells, sit on the many benches on scenic points to observe sailboats swaying slowly on the water. I went early morning (6 30 AM) and saw several dogs playing, kids digging in the sand, people strolling with coffee. Definitely a great place to take visiting family/friends for a quieter taste of the area waterfronts.

Short walk along the beach that has a great view of the ocean, also features a lighthouse, can also see Portland Headlight in the distance.
