Beautiful forest setting with nice views both at the small summit and down at the lake. Relatively easy traversing.

Excellent trail for a family with kids, resting by the beach was awesome, you might spot a bald eagle!

Short and sweet. Nice views. Well-maintained. Need to tap dance over rocks and roots. Easy access, so, it will draw crowds at times. Did this twice--first time with family mid day (lots of people, but still doable) ; 2nd time as a trail run in the morning, which was very nice and peaceful.
