Falmouth Town Forest Loop is a 1.9 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Falmouth, Maine that features a great forest setting and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Part of Falmouth Crossing Trail System. Town Forest is a 21-acre wooded recreational area with a nature trail which is excellent for exploration. This short, half-mile loop crosses over small brooks and relatively flat terrain. The path is somewhat overgrown. Natural Features: A secondary growth forest of large pine, hemlock and maple shields a thick understory of smaller maple, elm, and ferns. The wetlands, small brooks, and a ravine are home to associated plants and small animals.

Ok for a walk in the woods. Not a whole lot to look at. Much of the trail is covered with thick roots that make it slow going. The trail was washed out in a couple places from mud. It might be better in the summertime.
