Bucksport Waterfront Walkway is a 1.2 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Bucksport, Maine that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking and fishing. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
A paved waterfront walk along the Penobscot River in Bucksport. Enjoy being out on the trail! Accessibility: This brick and wooden trail is estimated to range from 5-7 feet wide. There is one short wooden bridge at the 0.5 mile mark, it has edge barriers and hand rails. The slope of this trail is estimated to range from 0-10%. While most of the trail is gentle in slope there may be steep sections at the 0.3 and 0.6 mile mark.
Such a nice little 1.5 mile hike with my terrier mix. He met lots of friends along the way. This hike offers beautiful views and salty air.
