Bradbury Mountain Loop is a 1.2 mile loop trail located near Pownal, Maine that features a great forest setting and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from May until October. Dogs and horses are also able to use this trail.

This was a fun hike overlooking the forest; a canopy of colorful leaves could be seen in all directions. If you look very closely with binoculars then downtown Portland and a small glimpse of the ocean is possible.

I have been out on these trails for geocaching and geocaching events. Depending on which side of the road you go on, you can go for the flat hikes or the uphill trail hikes. Not a good place to be off leash for the dog because of heavy use. Quietest on the flat hike side. Geocaching bonus
