Bliss Woods is located in Freeport, Maine with frontage on South Freeport Road. Starting on Interstate 295 in Yarmouth, take exit 17. Follow Route 1 north for approximately one mile. Turn right onto South Freeport Road. The property is one mile on the left from the intersection of Route 1 and South Freeport Road. There is a sign on the road describing the woodlot, and the trail accessing the property begins behind this sign.

Typical of the midcoast region, Bliss Woods grows their red oaks and white pines out of pockets of wet ground and ledge. The trail is fairly flat and likely offers good mushroom hunting in late summer. The parking may not be plowed in the winter.
