Taking this trail was like taking a sampler of the park! Amazing and I would highly recommend it.

Great hike to see multiple prime spots in Acadia, only difficult part is Beehive but there are metal rungs

Enjoyed this trail. Went up Beehive, which was still fairly crowded then did The Bowl, up to Gotham mountain, down the other side of Gotham mountain and the Cadillac cliff trail and walked back along the Ocean Path. Ended up being just under 4 miles. The Cadillac cliff trail was really cool.

Good trail. Got to the parking lot at 7am with a good amount of spaces. Pretty foggy all of the hike but still a cool hike. Rungs can be really slippery with mists.

Great hike. Started at Gorham Mtn trailhead for sunrise, then continued to the Beehive. Awesome climb and definitely worth it to stop by the Bowl. Busy, but it was LDW.

HikingGreat!

This was one of my favorite trails during my trip to Acadia. Beehive could be challenging for some but the views at the top are very rewarding. For a Monday morning, the trail wasn’t too busy.

HikingGreat!

This trail provides a nice mix of everything: steep climbs, mountain outlooks, gentle forest walks... and is actually vastly improved if you don’t return from Gorham mountain the way you came, but instead continue down the south side, to the parking lot on park loop road and then walk back along the ocean loop trail to Sand Beach for a perfect end to the hike with a dip in the ocean. This trail is described as ‘lightly trafficked’ but that is not the case - the Beehive gets extremely congested on the way up (akin to Angel’s Landing in Zion) so it’s best to start early.

Came on a Saturday at 715am. Parked close to trailhead to my surprise. Second car there. Shared trail with 10 others along the way. Thrilling climb. Precipice got my adrenaline going, this was much easier but still not for the faint of heart

This loop was challenging, fun, and breathtaking! We started with the Beehive Trail when we had the most energy, then continued to Gorham Mountain which also had beautiful scenic points and was less trafficked. We finished the loop with the Ocean Trail for a more relaxing and very scenic view of the coastline.

Sweet trail. Beehive and Gorham are technically challenging but surprisingly achievable. We skipped Otter Creek and most of the peninsula ocean path in the interest of making it to Thunder Hole at the right time for the tides.

Great for experienced hiking dogs. Some ankle breaker rocks on the way in so must be able to maintain control of dog. Dogs cannot go up the beehive, as there is only ladder access, but the swim at the bowl is worth it. Great fun.

Great hike on the dangerous side! We did the beehive path on a wet day, which is not recommended, and it was quite scary at some parts where you go up a metal ladder and don't have much to hold on to afterwards. Beautiful views though, definitely recommend starting with the beehive part, it's easy after that. I would also recommend wearing shoes with good grip and double check where you're placing your foot as you go through the beehive trail.

A great combo of up and down. Get some great views of eastern Acadia, all from one trailhead. Knocked out Beehive, Bowl, and Gorham Mtn in about 100min., with a few breaks, and heavy traffic on the Beehive (esp for a TUE August morn at 9A).
