Amazing view! especially during autumn when the foliage is out and the crowds are down. Definitely start at the beehive. We met some hikers on the trail who started at Gorham and were disappointed.

Harder than I thought- I’m scared of heights...

Awesome! We started the hike at 7:45am! The parking lot at sand beach is where we parked and was nearly empty. The trail head is up the street on the left. Go early if you hike this, we were the only ones on the trail and it was AWESOME. Hiked to Gorham and down to the ocean trail. Such a great hike! I highly recommend it! Took us roughly 2.5 hours with the stopping and photos!

Worth doing if you want to do a few hikes in one. Started on Beehive then connected to Gorham Mountain, which then made its way down to Park Loop Rd to connect to Ocean Path. Beautiful views on Beehive of Sand Beach and the coast, and again amazing views on top of Gorham Mountain. Finishing with the Ocean Path is nice and lowkey.

Great hike. I would not hike it if you are afraid of heights. Some minor climbing needed through iron stairs, you will have to use your hands intensively.

Great hike away from the crowds at Thunder Rock. Went on a rainy day, very peaceful but the mostly rocky trail gets a bit slippery so leave plenty of extra time. Although this trail is rated "moderate " here, a two mile section travels over the same route as the Beehive Loop which is rated "difficult" due to the vertical climb on iron foot holds, so review that trail's discussions before you go. There is a section of the Bowl trail that gets you around on an alternate route if you prefer (and definitely recommended if a rainy wet day!)

Beautiful trail. Starts hard and gets easier as you go. Beehive is legit climbing up rocks so nobody with a fear of heights should do it. But it's not particularly arduous and my 60 year old parents were both able to do it. Highly recommend.

The haul up the Beehive is tough as advertised but over relatively quickly. Great views from the top of both peaks. Would get a higher rating but we were basically walking in a line half the time
