This trail feels like longer than 7.8 miles, but it's definitely nice! The trail started out flat and after crossing the river a few times, you end up hiking up a mini stream. This blue trail meets up with the Appalachian Trail (labeled white), where it got pretty steep. I got to the parking lot when the rain just had stopped so everything there was very wet and hiking up the steep section was challenging. The top has a 360 view of the area! Also, there are tons of waterfalls on his trail along the river, which make the trail very enjoyable.
