with the heavy lead fall on the ground i could not find the trail at all. spent an hour looking for it. definitely needs clearing and marking.

Hmmmm... not a bad hike, but there are zero trail markers, but that is ok.. brought back good memories from when I skied there in the 70's..

The trail is a bit overgrown snowmobile trail, but easy to follow. Lightly traveled, so not a lot of exposed roots. The top is open granite ledges.

I climbed the old access road/snowmobile trail and descended on the overgrown hiking trail which makes use of the old ski slopes. This mountain doesn't get much use and is quite overgrown, but there are good views and the ski area remains are interesting. The best views are from a ledge past where the snowmobile trail ends down a herd path.

Like everyone else has said this is a snowmobile trail so it’s easy going, the start has a blockade across saying no motorized vehicles, just follow that trail all the way

Hiking

Great hike with an awesome lake view at the top. The trail is unmarked but follows a snowmobile path up the old ski hills. Don’t get lost with the red blazes marking the property line. They are not trail blazes. We learned that one after a bit of fruitless bushwhacking...

First to Review

This is wide trail and traveled rarely because it is best known as a snowmobile trail and is not marked as a hiking trail. Today there was a lot more snow than expected!! It is great for kids young and old.
