Well kept but way too easy for my taste and too many screaming kids running around

Great for fishing, majority of the park is very well kept and staff was friendly. Just didn't take long to see everything, and the majority is paved.

This was a great trail(s) for my kids and I to explore! Mostly paved but even the parts that weren't were still nice and even with a few bumps, the stroller still made it. The Hippie Point trail is beautiful and has lots of outlets to the water with amazing views! Lots of different trails that split off but as far as we could tell, they all led to the same place. The Toledo Bend visitors center was great and very informative. This is a great day spot and hiking location for those with kids and/or looking for a short hike.

Red trail was cool. Lots of pine trees. Some pretty lookouts of the water. Birds and Squirrels. Very easy with moderate inclines as my 6 yr old niece was or "trail guide!" Very beautiful picnic overlooking water area and visitor/nature center. also several paved trails along water for easier access to nature.
