Super easy hike. My boyfriend and I went this morning after breakfast.

Great in city trail for a short walk or jog. I prefer to start of off the Downing Pines entrance and take the middle route over the water. In the early morning Egrets and Herring are common. I recommend for a short trip. Great geocaching spot

This is a nice, well-maintained trail. It is not very long and I would consider it a very easy hike.

Neat loop walking trail in the city. The outside loop is 1 mile and there is also a cut-through with a long bridge. Park is kept up very well. You can park in the lot behind interstate dodge off of Downing Pines, it has bathrooms, water fountains, pavilion with grills.

Short, easy trail behind the HI Express and Visitors Center just off I-20 in West Monroe. Outer loop is just one mile but you can make it longer by crossing over on the bridge in the middle. Nice lake with birds in the middle. Trail is gravel covered so good for running as well.
